Throw Back ( a old blog post of old closet)

Spring cleaning time! I know I'm a lil late for spring cleaning but I want to redo my closet in the near future so I wanted to show you guys a sneak peek of my lil DIY mini walkin closet, I spired by the ikea walkin closet within a bedroom. I must say I have came a long way with this project and aim proud to present to you the results. You can actually view a clip of the closet via Instagram #afrikanreine, I also posted a pic a few of my loafers and oxfords collection. I will be heading to the container store for some more of the acrylic shoe storage drawers. Sorry I. Advance for the quality of the picture. The pictures were taken with my iPad, as of most of my pics, so I will need to fit in getting a professional cam within my small budget. The closet that I will be redoing in the near future with also be a budget friendly closet, I need to expand to have more room for clothes and shoes, and if you stay tune you will see how I accomplish all of that on a budget. In my future closet I need to make room my my massive jewelry collection, shoe storage, more hanging space, and mini vanity station, and shelving storage. Sounds like a lot huh! But as in this closet, that was exactly what I did in my current closet. Packed with tons of storage ideas and solutions for small closet spaces.

I put shelves in the back wall for storing some of my jewels, I used a framed cork board to store my larger statement earrings, perfume tray for my perfumes; perfumes and body sprays of course, the perfume tray was actually silver from the dollar store, that I spray painted gold, a quick easy diy. Acrylic drawer for my really small makeup collection, some flowers to make the space pretty, my golden statue  of Egyptian queen nerfertiti.

My shoe wall, I can never manage to get the pic of the whole wall, which consist of 7 and not the 5 you see in the picture. I also used these wall mounted storage basket use for storing supplies to store my belts, studded bra, and some scarves.

Here's a close up, this how I store all of my belts, and a few scarves inside of wall mount storage compartment originally used to store crafting supplies. This is a perfect example of taking something and repurposing it to conform to your needs.

This acrylic drawer are from the. Obtained
